Who wants a running Abe T-shirt?
The LMU-DCOM Health Equity Club is sponsoring the second annual LMU-DCOM 5k Classic: AAC Edition on Saturday, April 24th at 9:00 am. Registration begins at 8:00 am. We will be taking registration forms the week before the race in the lobby. To guarantee yourself a T-shirt, please preregister then. The profits all go to benefit Adventure Amputee Camp. Last year the camp was almost cancelled due to lack of funds. The camp is free for amputee children throughout the southeast and usually has around forty to fifty children. They participate in a ropes course, go white water rafting, waterskiing, and many other activities. Please feel free to make donations if you won’t be in town or really hate running like I do. The race is $20.
There will be door prizes given out after the race and the top male and female finishers will receive gift certificates. Attached is the flyer for the race if you wish to post it at a spouse’s office, church, or any other location you deem fit.
