The Health Equity Club will be meeting Wednesday, January 27th at 5:30 pm in LMU-DCOM Rm 105. We plan to discuss the article:
Is poverty the main factor contributing to health-care disparities? (article attached).
Also we need volunteers for the 2nd Annual DCOM Classic 5K!!!
The Health Equity Club will be sponsoring a 5K on April 24th. We need help with soliciting sponsors, designing a T-shirt, setting up, registration, and timers. If you are interested in helping please come to the meeting (race info will be first). The race will benefit Amputees Coming Together which is a free week long summer camp for amputee children from all over the southeast.
