Class of 2015: Patricia Goodwin

She has been actively involved in SOMA and has worked hard to plan DO day on Capitol Hill. She is always available when I need help with anything – be it club or academia related. She’s a valuable asset to our school and I’m proud to have her as a friend and colleague.

Class of 2016: Bill Lorson

He is an outstanding medical student that goes above and beyond to help all the students in the class. He is involved outside of school with the local Fire Department, which is a huge commitment. He is able to balance both school and outside activities. He also has a great sense of humor. You can always go to Bill when you’re having an off day and he is guaranteed to make you smile.

Class of 2015: Danielle Harrell

Danielle is very involved with DCOM, both in and outside of class activities. She holds multiple offices in busy clubs and continually goes out of her way to help many of our class members.

She tutors the class below us and is actively involved in the local community. She always succeeds in being a role model for other students here at DCOM, and not to mention, she is a fantastic ski buddy!

Kristin has been an invaluable member of the class of 2015. She continuously makes study guides for our classes and is constantly sharing them with others. James is an all-around great guy who always has a great, positive attitude. Although this semester has been stressful for everyone, he has taken time out of his schedule to help his classmates better understand the material. He has held several review sessions for Behavioral Med and is always willing to help others out. He is a pivotal part of the Neuro/Psych Club and has worked extremely hard to ensure a successful semester for the club. Jackie has continuously made reviews for the class in several subjects and is always willing to put forth the effort to help out a fellow classmate. She has volunteered and been involved in several different activities this semester such as representing DCOM at AOA, representing the OMS-Is in SOMA and also volunteering at events like the fall festival. Class of 2015: Brad Terry

Brad is always helping other students out, no matter what they need. Whether it is related to school, clubs, or other aspects, Brad always volunteers his time to lend a helping hand. From the beginning of last year, he was always willing to help out and volunteer his time; and this characteristic has continued well into this year. He is a true example of a well-rounded student, and DCOM is lucky to have him!

Class of 2016: Razik Oumeddour

Razik has been an invaluable member of the Class of 2016. His classmates have benefited tremendously from his help in the anatomy lab. He has devoted hours and hours to helping fellow classmates learn gross anatomy, although he is not even taking the class. He continuously takes time out of his schedule to help others, although it is taking tons of time out of his own busy schedule. So many students are extremely grateful for his selflessness and have benefited from it. It is people like Razik that makes DCOM a wonderful place to learn medicine!

Loni has been working so hard this semester to make the community service committee a success. She especially contributed much to the white coat BBQ and went above and beyond what was asked of her. Class of 2015: Ashley Houser

Ashley has dedicated much of her time this semester with helping many students out with their studies. Because she was previously a nurse before medical school, she has much experience in areas that we have recently been learning. She has spent numerous hours helping others learn EKGs and has been extremely encouraging throughout the process. She also has spent time in Airway Training and in ACLS training. She continually puts others first and helps out in any way she can. All the while doing this, she holds a part-time job at a hospital, stays active in clubs and teaches aerobics each week. Thank you, Ashley for making DCOM a better place because of your efforts! Many people are benefiting from your selflessness!

Class of 2016: Jimmy Tran

Jimmy has already made a great name for himself among his new classmates. He has taken much of his own time to make practice exams that closely simulate the actual exam. This has helped many students out and has done it solely for the purpose of being helpful to his colleagues . Although he also has a busy schedule, he always takes time out to encourage others and to be an overall great classmate to others. His classmates are extremely appreciative of the time he has devote to making their transition into medical school a little less stressful. Class of 2014: Jennifer Fletcher

Jennifer has helped the class of 2014 in numerous ways. She has coordinated numerous anatomy and OPP reviews, while continuing to balance her personal and academic life. She always is pleasant and has a smile on her face. She is a great encourager and motivator to her classmates and always strives to help in any way that she can. She also helps her classmates on a more personal level to make their academic and social lives more enjoyable and less stressful. No matter what her schedule looks like, she always is willing to help another student.

Class of 2015: Annie Worth

Annie has been extremely involved here on campus, especially with the DCOM Spanish group. She took the initiative last semester to get those involved who were interested in Spanish as a 2^nd language and has planned events all year long without any recognition or public benefit. She has even planned Spanish OCSEs to give those who want practice applying Spanish in a medical situation. She is always willing to help, inside or outside of the Spanish group. Her classmates recognize her as being genuine and very helpful and have benefitted greatly from her service. We are grateful for her contributions here at DCOM and are fortunate to have her as part of our class!

Class of 2014: Stephen Mularz

Stephen spent hours of his time helping tutor students in ECGs before the ISAs! He posted up in a study room all night before the original test and was willing to help anyone with questions. Then he did the same thing for the retake! This is one of many things that Stephen has done for our class. He is always prepared to help others study especially in any area that he excels. Rather than coasting through those areas he instead uses his extra time to make sure we all succeed. Thank you for all your help Stephen, we are lucky to have you in our class!
